Some people drink, some gamble, some smoke. My dirty secret is I love colognes. I have a nice collection and an intervention isn't far off for me. Until then..
Amouage is easily among the best perfumiers in the world. They have a nice collection of men's scents, however, I only have Dia and it is a fantastic scent.
It is not overpowering, even upon first application. It is fresh, but has a substantive aspect that is complex and sophisticated. It's perfect for daily wear, I'd even wear it for evenings out, but hey, that's just me. I little goes a long way and I have been applying less of this than I do of any other cologne I wear. It also seems to last a long time too. This is also the most expensive cologne I have ever worn as well. If you are considering it, I strongly suggest that you buy a $10 sample before you drop $250 on the bottle. Scents are very personal and can smell different for everyone, so ordering a sample really is a must.
Make no mistake, this is a luxury scent, at a luxury price, but very, very well done. If you are looking for a great scent, give Dia a try. Even if you only buy the sample, one thing is for sure, you won't smell like every other guy.
