Cucumber Melon has been one of Bath and Body Works's signature scents for some time. And Bath and Body Works was the first line to have a cucumber melon scent- now you can find cucumber melon stuff everywhere, but for awhile it was only at B&BW, so definite points for originality. I suspect by now many people have a general idea of what cucumber melon smells like, but for those that don't, it's basically a honeydew melon scent with pronounced watery notes. Bath and Body Works certainly do the scent well, but it's one that doesn't blow me away. I like fruity scents, but there's not much depth or complexity in the scent. This is a scent that does very well in bath products. It's good at making you feel clean. But it perfume, I find it a bit lacking. As this is a body splash it offers a light and short-lived scent, and the alcohol content is definitely noticeable. There's a distinct alcohol scent when spraying it on. Certainly one good do worse in a scent and in a body splash- this product was okay, but didn't blow me away.
