Think coach leather and then some about the quality of the leather. The sizing may seem a tad narrow, but is not an issue. In fact, it allows the shoe not to jiggle around or rise up, like what happens with my Allen Edmonds Mocs (Kent style). The quality of construction is the equivalent to Allen Edmonds, in my opinion. The sole is a hard rubber, which is good for rainy days in Seattle. The black moc is very comfortable, light, and versatile-can where with a sports jacket or with jeans. A fantastic buy.
