I am absolutely thrilled with these boots; they are not too heavy, very very warm and have great traction on slippery surfaces. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good all around winter boot.

I was so excited to get a great deal on these boots by Sorel. I've read the reviews and was nervous - but they seemed so cute in the picture that I had to try for myself. LOVE THEM! Okay, so if you're looking for a slenderizing boot for your foot, this isn't it - but if you're looking for a low, flat, stable boot that rivals the comfort of a slipper and keeps you toasty warm... this is it.
They're super easy to cinch down if you're going to be on serious terrain, but they don't loosen easily to get off so I leave them a little looser if I'm shopping. The good news is that you'll figure out the trick after trying to get out of them a few times.
When I first tried them on I was nervous that they were too small, but after lots of toe-checking - I realized that what I was feeling was the new-bulk of the shearling lining. After wearing them a couple of times, I no longer have any anxiety that these are too small. They fit true to size with a normal sock. If you wish to wear a heavy sock - I'd suggest ordering 1/2 size up.
These are really cute and comfy. I highly recommend them. But honestly - if you are phobic about a wide looking boot, don't waste your time on these. They're not "sporty" - they're "cute" and Eskimo-ish. Also, they have a low tread pattern and won't track loads of snow inside. Very nice for the urban environment.

I love these boots! Before I bought these boots, my feet were always cold, even just around my house they were freezing! I have not taken these boots off since I bought them. They are so warm and comfortable I wear them as house shoes and yet they are durable and great for dealing with icy/snowy conditions. Someone mentioned they thought the sizes ran small but I bought mine in store and when I tried them on, i told the clerk I thought they felt too tight. He said you have to break them in a bit and the inside will eventually mold around your foot. Sure enough, after a couple weeks, they fit perfect now. So, save the hassle of trying to exchange them and see if breaking them in works first!

I was looking for boots that are water proof, warm and look cool. These boots are all that and a bag of chips. I ordered them from Amazon because not only were they one of the cheapest but the only ones that had them in Red. They fit perfect, true to size and the foot bed is extreamly comfy. They also stay tight on your foot and don't loosen up at all. The best is the shearling goes all the way in to the boot and I sometimes wear them around the house when I can't find my slippers. You will not regret this purchase.

i love these boots. we haven't had any winter here to wear them, but they are really sturdy and well made. i ordered another tall pair too.
