Great little toaster January 6, 2009 Just a plain-jane toaster but attractive enough, cool on the outside, bread inserts quietly, toasting adjustment dial works, and I'm very satisfied.
Great No-Frills Toaster December 16, 2008 This toaster is very basic. It has four settings ranging from light to dark. The space to place the bread is large enough to accommodate bagels without a special adjustment. I have found that the medium dark setting works well for bread and bagels. However English muffins seem to toast better on dark.I like this toaster because it is the "no bells, no whistles" type, works well and the price was quite reasonable.
All Around Inexpensive Toaster December 6, 2008 Consumer reports recommended this model as a best buy. I like it and did have to learn how to early release items by moving lever sideways. Very light it seems durable but I would fear dropping it. A good cheap toaster.
Does the job December 2, 2008 Toasts quite nicely and evenly. Setting is usually in the middle and the toast comes out not too dark not too light. The spring up works well, no digging out with a knife or something silly. Only complaints are that it has a fairly loud humming noise when it's in operation and the door on the bottom has a fairly difficult latch to undo and redo for cleaning. Neither of which imped the operation of making bread into toast.
No stop or cancel button December 1, 2008 Toasts well, super cheap, but doesn't have a way to stop the thing without pulling the cord from the wall.
