I was worried about this product b/c I saw in the photos the bright pinks, but I had read and seen sooooo many reviews of it on here and on youtube, I had to try it out! I got this and it is seriously my favorite palette I own. I don't own the shimmer palette b/c the colors are too bright for me. This is definitely still neutral enough for me, b/c i'm more of a natural/neutral eye color kind of girl! I seriously am in love with this, and can't tell you how many different eye looks I've already been able to make b/c of all of the colors available! I'm in love! hehe.

I've seen so many reviews on this product (and others) so I decided to buy it. I bought this palette through Coastal Scents. It was shipped within the time frame suggested. It was left out in 100 degree weather causing the glue (that holds the pots down) to melt. So I have a bunch of loose pots flying around every time I open it. Make sure you consider the weather when buying this product! The packaging is pretty cheap. The plastic that the pots lay in is even cheaper. The pots are pretty small, about the size of a dime. It comes with a decent sized mirror and 2 sponge tip applicators that were like cardboard so I promptly threw them away.
I have to say that the colors are quite gorgeous! The physical aspects of the eyeshadow are interesting. There is some sort of "top coat" on all the eyeshadows. I had to kind of scrub it off until I got to the shadow itself. This was for most of them. Warning: not all the colors are metallic, some are shimmery. Some of the metallic colors have a flakiness associated with them - making them not very blendable. And once you do scrub off that "top coat", they colors are very dusty/chalky. In fact, I noticed that the shadows have magnetic properties (not surprisingly though). When you dust them off for application, most of it goes flying off and actually sticking to the plastic. Some sort of static event is being creating unlike any other eyeshadows I have used.
Also, my eyes feel somewhat itchy when I use them (I have no none allergies). I am not sure how I feel knowing they are made in Hong Kong where production standards are quite low. These eyeshadows are not high quality, but they are mediocre quality. You will get what you pay for. I gave it two stars because they are beautiful colors and would be fun to experiment with on a sporadic basis.

I ordered this palette so I could have a multitude of high shimmer/metal eye colors at my fingertips for various summer looks. Another reason was to try out Coastal Scents products. The colors stay put especially when using a primer(urban decay potion). Not powdery at all.I love the variety of pink shades.Use over lips to add a summer pow for evening. Only took aproximately 5 days to recieve palette and it was in great shape. Very well intact. My nexy order is the Coastal Scents 26 color blush combo for $19.95. Coastal Scents is part of the Free SuperSaving Shipping of $25 or more offer which is a definite plus.

I love the shades in this Metal Mania palette. They go well on my brown skin. I use it with Mac Prep+Prime for eyes and that way they stay on a bit longer. However, you would be disappointed if you expect these to be a substitute for MAC. The quantity of each color is quite small, a shallow dime size. I don't wear this on a daily basis so my palette is going to last a while. I purchased it more as an inexpensive alternative for just experimenting with color combinations. The brushes supplied with the kit are useless. All in all, 4 stars for the selection of colors, very compelling price point and acceptable quality.

I love it! I remember posting review about this the first time I bought but anyhow, its great and amazing price this product has.
Also, I ordered this three times because my friends loved the eye make up I had when used this product:)
