This shoe is the best pair of black comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought the earlier version (black w/white stiching) approximately 4 years ago for $250.00 and I was a little uncomfortable paying that much for a pair of shoes for work - but they were well worth it and still after 4+ years are still my favorite pair of shoes. I have put these shoes to the test; I wear them quite often and I do a lot of walking with my traveling job and they still look great! I have only needed to replace the heel tap every 8 mos or so - the front rubber sole has held up extremely well! I was so happy to see that Donald Pliner brought this shoe back; I am ordering all three colors!
