Overall I had no problems with the shoe. However, the leather is coated with a waxy substance that is supposed to allow for unique cracking patterns. I'm not sure when this was to happen. The process leaves the shoe looking almost green, old, and dirty; sort of like you were working with concrete dust all day. The photo indicates only a slight off black look; which is why I purchased the shoe.
