Product Description The Dr. Martens you love get a serious shot of color! The Fluorescent Collection rides a wave of nostalgia for 80s and 90s dance culture.
Amazon.com Product Description Dr. Marten's leather lace-ups feature a thick-foam-padded collar and tongue, a contoured footbed for exceptional fit and flexibility, and a thick outsole to reduce foot pressure and stress. Dr. Martens' highly recognizable yellow stitching encircles the sole. A favorite style across many age groups, women have paired these boots with everything from jeans and biker-chick attire, to ultra feminine floaty skirts.

Too stiff December 13, 2008 These Docs are so stiff that they are uncomfortable. I have several pair of vintage Docs and they are all excellent quality supple leather. These feel really inferior and were not made in England like all of my others. They look really cool, but I would definitely not recommend them.
orange docs October 1, 2008 These boots are total attention seeking missiles. They seem to have universal appeal as all kinds of people stop me everywhere to comment favourably about them. Amazon shipped them to me so fast that I had them in New Zealand 2 days after ordering, which was incredible. Love 'em!
Almost as good as the old ones. March 14, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I just got a pair of the hot pink patent 1460s, and they're almost as good as the UK-made Dr. Martens boots I wore in the 90s. These are made in Thailand. The "leather" is actually bicast, which is reconstituted leather put into molds and coated with polyurethane. So it's cheap and not meant to last. That said, it's some of the softest bicast I've handled. The boots only took 2 or 3 days to break in, and now they're some of the most comfortable footwear I own. VERY flexible soles. Not as sturdy as the old UK made Docs, but considerably more flexible than the Chinese made Dr. Martens I've handled in stores.
Basically, they ain't what they used to be, but at least they're more comfortable than they have been.
And they look great!
