Save with black December 13, 2008
These shoes are a great bargain, if you order the black color. The white shoes cost twice as much. So if you want to get a good quality walking shoe cheap, order these black New Balances. They are very lightweight and comfortable.

New Balance hit the nail on the head with these shoes. I ordered these as a work shoe because I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day. They have held up very well (2 months an hardly any signs of wear on the soles)and my feet no longer ache after a long week. Before buying these I would buy the $40.00 "off the shelf" New Balance shoes along with an arch insert and end up replacing them every 2-3 months. These are worthy right out of the box and seem to be long lasting. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The NB 844 is offered in several widths allowing for a better fit. I like the EE Wide, which is not offered by many other athletic shoe manufacturers. Besides the good fit, this shoe provides stability, reduces foot fatigue and is comfortable right out of the box. I'd recommend this shoe to anyone that walks for fitness, or as a good all-around gym shoe.

A terrific combination of lightweight and supportive shoes. I can walk for a long, long time and never have my feet get tired. Mesh on the sides helps your feet breathe.

This excellent walking shoe is lightweight, yet very supportive. For those people who walk rapidly and are prone to turning their ankles with any missteps or on an uneven surface, these shoes are helpful.
