Had Crocs "Scutes" for 2 years, about to by another pair September 15, 2008
The instant I slipped my foot into these I knew they were just right. A bit expensive for a plastic "flip flop," but they turned out to be more than worth it. I didn't expect the material to hold up, but after two years of constant use in Florida the only wear is to the sole. So it's time to buy another pair. Trouble is, they make so many styles now I can't decide which.
Some have reported getting these caught in escalators. In my opinion that's, well, a croc. The front curls upward and is pretty thick, so I cannot imagine how anyone can get these caught in an escalator. But that's just my opinion.
