First, I have to say, I had a pair of heavy soled skechers boot before and wanted to replace them. These looked almost exactly like it but they weren't as heavy soled as I thought. Other than that disappointment, they are a good boot and well constructed. I just got so used to the heaviness and these seemed like slippers compared to it.
