 Looks great but... July 30, 2008
I purchased these boots in October of 2007. I paid $100 for these boots. I thought they would be worth the investment and last. I bought them for their looks and comfort. They are extremely comfortable and look awesome. I have had numerous compliments on them. One of the things I liked about these boots was the trim around the boot where there is normally a stitching around the top outside edge of the boot, these have what appear to be tiny silver brads. They don't show up in the photo but they are there. I wore these boots once a week since October 2007. That means I wore them at the most 35 times, then I notice in June that the little silver "brad like" accents were coming off. I did not realize these were only a painted accent on the boot! So the boots I bought for looks and comfort weren't looking so great anymore. I am very, very disappointed. The Ariat Fat Baby line of boots as a whole, look great and are very comfortable. But if you expect the "Gem Baby" line to stay great looking, think again. I will buy more "Fat Baby" boots, but I WILL NOT buy any more "Gem Baby" boots. I also own a red pair that look great but I know now at some point the same thing will eventually happen to them that happened to my camo boots.
 I will be buying ariat fatbaby boots again! December 20, 2007

I love army camo and when I saw these, I thought, "Perfect, it states me in a pair of boots". But when they came in the mail, (little slower in delivery than I like), and I tried them on.... I honestly said, "let me die with my boots on". Haha!
Girls, these are adoreable. They are so girly girl with the gems on them, that is my favorite part about these. Yes, even more so than the camo, because they are different but pretty like every girl wants.
As far a size, I normally take a 8.5 which in these, there isn't much room and I dont have space for the thick insole which I have in all my other shoes. I am on my feet all day long on a hard floor and prefer the extra cushion. The sole are good but they could use a little extra padding for more comfort. If you prefer this too, might want to be sure you order the size to give you a little extra space needed.
