These are great! July 27, 2008 I got these in a larger size and they are extremely comfortable and rather slimming.
Perfect fit! July 10, 2008 These jeans are the only jeans I have ever worn that fit me perfectly! Also, they always have my size online at macys.com (16L). They do shrink in legnth a very little bit after each wash, but nothing dramatic and still fit perfectly everywhere else.
Wish I could find them somewhere else that is a little cheaper though :/
Best Jeans Ever January 24, 2008 These are the only jeans I wear now. They fit perfectly and feel great on. They do run a little big but I like that since I can now pretend I'm a comfortable 6 instead of an 8. Ahhh, vanity! I have them in every color and like all of them. I also bought the DKNY Skinny Jeans which are great for boots. Same great stretch. There are other DKNY jeans that aren't stretch that don't fit as well.
Short lived life, length will shrink! January 9, 2008 I love these jeans but, basically have found they have extreme wear on the outer hem about 5 inches down from the hips. I bought these jeans 6 months ago and bought another pair today. I checked the inside of where it is serged on the new pants and I forsee the same problem happening with these :( The seam appears straight but once placed on your leg it bunches and rubs (never felt it rubbing just see the wear/hole forming on both legs) to wear a hole eventually.
I am really sad about this as they're my favorite all time jean. If you want a pair of pants that last more than a year don't buy these would be my advice. Not sure where else to comment I wish they would change the design so this isn't a problem. I wonder if I am alone in this wear. I've never had this problem with any other brand of jean either period. Oh also I agree in the shrinkage in the length for sure I am 5'2" and have to wear with tennis shoes or low shoes. I even bough Regular length and they shrunk (usually I buy short).
nice, but too stretchy November 17, 2007 The size 14 (my usual size) was too big, so I tried out a 12, which fit well. These jeans had a nice wash and really nice line through the leg. But they made my hips/abs section look bigger. Also, the material was too stretchy, and after a few hours trial wear the jeans started to look baggy around my butt. I returned them. They were incredibly comfortable though. Maybe good for someone less self-conscious about butt/ab area. (In the meantime, I've found J Crew bootleg premium rinse jeans to be the best fitting and best looking jeans I've ever worn. They were more expensive than any jeans I've ever purchased, but also the best so far.)
